Through confirmation study, young people explore their faith as they prepare to make for themselves the promises made by others when they were baptized.
During confirmation classes, youth delve into Lutheran theology and their relationship with God by studying the Bible and using Martin Luther's Small Catechism and Luther's Small Catechism with African Descent Reflections. These resources are guides for learning about the:
We use a large group/small group approach. We start with a teaching time for everyone and then break into small groups to process the lesson and share with each other. We always close together with a prayer and blessing.
